Axios has the people in the room on record.
Trump and David Perdue deny he called any country a shithole.
Tom Cotton and DHS Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen don't recall "those comments specifically" and "that exact phrase", respectively.
Dick Durbin and Lindsey Graham confirm he said that and more.
Mario Diaz-Balart won't say either way, only stating that he's not going to lose focus. (As good as an admission.)
Kevin McCarthy and Bob Goodlatte apparently haven't commented.
So, you know he said all those things. And when Lindsey Graham says, "I said my piece directly to him yesterday. The president and all those attending the meeting know what I said and how I feel," you know the truth.
Whether or not he actually said "shithole" - which he did - isn't really the point anyway. The point is that he was verbally denigrating other countries and the immigrants from them - all dark-skinned people - and indicating he wants more people like Norweigians - whites. And even his - and his defenders' - excuse that he just wants people who will contribute positively to our nation doesn't cut the mustard, because there are plenty of positively contributing people from the countries he's calling shitholes.
Looks like we're going to have to wait for another scandal - bigger than the lie he told about the Wall Street Journal interview - to knock this out of the news. Don't worry. It won't be long.
