Trump has been fever-free since Friday, according to Conley, and otherwise has experienced symptoms of a mild cough, nasal congestion and fatigue.

Dexamethasone is a cheap and widely available corticosteroid that is used to head off an immune system overreaction and treat inflammation.

The drug has risen to prominence as a COVID-19 treatment after a study published in the New England Journal of Medicine in July found it significantly improved the chances of survival for seriously ill COVID-19 patients.

“It can cause psychosis. It can cause delirium. It can cause mania,” Megan Ranney, an emergency physician and associate professor at Brown University, told CNN Sunday.

“I would never want to say the president is experiencing steroid-induced psychosis, but it is certainly concerning to see some of his actions today in the wake of this potentially deadly diagnosis and infectious disease.”

Honestly, he does seem drugged when he's giving a speech that's written for him.

His mouth is very dry.  It's drugs, folks.  Why he had to be drugged is open to speculation, but I don't think they'd schedule him for this speech right after taking a routtinely prescribed drug.



His tongue was giving him trouble saying bipartisan solutions.  He's having a hard time breathing, as well as reading.

His whole speech was outlined by other GOP and Fox heads over the course of the past couple of days: mental illess, video games.  Bullshit.  No other country has these types of mass killings, while they do have mental illness and video games.

I said, ‘You’re wrong, Justin.’ He said, ‘Nope, we have no trade deficit.’ I said, ‘Well, in that case, I feel differently,’ I said, ‘but I don’t believe it.’ I sent one of our guys out, his guy, my guy, they went out, I said, ‘Check, because I can’t believe it.’

The one thing both tell us is that he has no fucking idea what he's talking about.

The president was in Missouri to raise money for Josh Hawley, who is taking on Sen. Claire McCaskill (D) in November's midterm election. He called McCaskill “bad for Missouri and bad for the country.” But he barely spoke about Hawley. Instead, he talked about himself.

What a surprise.

Trump spoke as his White House tried to pick up the pieces after Democrats' apparent victory in a special election in a western Pennsylvania congressional district that Trump won by 20 points in 2016. Pollsters said the results showed how Trump was dragging down the Republican Party, but the president took none of the blame. He said the Republican candidate, Rick Saccone, would have lost by a wider margin without his support — Trump held a rally for Saccone over the weekend. And he said the Democrat, Conor Lamb, won the seat because he was “like Trump” but that Lamb would vote with House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.).
