Illinois joins assault weapons bans
Of course, assault weapons will flow into Chicago from nieghboring states, and Chicago will get the blame for crimes involving those weapons.

Assault weapons ban passes in the House
Barely. 217 - 213.
Five Democrats voted against the ban: Henry Cuellar (D-Texas), Jared Golden (D-Maine), Vicente Gonzalez (D-Texas), Kurt Schrader (D-Ore) and Ron Kind (D-Wis).
Two Republicans voted for it: Brian Fitzpatrick (R-Pa) and Chris Jacobs (R-NY).
Interesting.
