How is MAGA feeling now?

Also, that stupid tough guy face.  It's one MAGA loves, though.

And, he loves it.

Here's the perfect portrait:

Trump's economy

But don't tell Trump.  He thinks everything is going great.

How to make a hit with American farmers

Bail out Argentina with $20 million, and then buy their beef.

Of course, he's fucking that up and possibly making it worse for them by running his trap about determining who their president is.

President Donald Trump hosted Argentine President Javier Milei at the White House on Oct. 14, days after the administration announced a $20 billion bailout for his country.

[...]

Voters will deliver their verdict on Milei's party since he took office in December 2023 at the Argentine midterm elections for legislators later this month. Trump said support for the country relies on his success.

[...]

"We think he's going to win. He should win," Trump said at a bilateral lunch with Milei and Cabinet members at the White House. "And if he does win, we're going to be very helpful. If he doesn't win, we're not going to waste our time."

The comment rattled Argentina's markets, according to Reuters.

Yes, folks, the meddling old narcissist is going to bring down the entire world. And he has the right to do it, because he's the king of the world.
U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent has said that the United States' economic lifeline for Milei's country will take the form of a currency swap with Argentina's central bank. That's a move that amounts to effectively exchanging stable U.S. dollars with volatile pesos.
And we could always use volatile pesos, right?
Reuters reported he said the assistance was strategic for the United States for its openness to allow U.S. companies to develop rare earths and uranium resources and Milei's promise to get "China out of Argentina."
Trump has gotten it in his head that he needs to claim all the rare earth minerals on the globe.
On Oct. 15, Bessent announced support for the country would double to $40 billion. Reuters reported he also denied the aid was tied to the country's midterm elections, but rather is contingent on "good policy."
Whatever, Scott. We'll await Trump's claim that he meant what he said.

And just what do we know about this Milei who Trump is so enamored of?
Milei is a trained economist who believes that institutions of state ultimately hamper many forms of freedom and that true financial success can only be achieved through private markets and stateless societies. He was one of only a few world leaders who attended Trump's inauguration.

[...]

Milei's domestic critics have long dubbed him "El Loco" (the madman).

When running for office, Milei said he was ready to attack the system with a chainsaw. This is something he symbolically proved on the campaign trail by repeatedly brandishing one in front of supporters.
I read that's where Musk got the idea.
He also claimed he was considering "blowing up" Argentina's central bank by ditching the local peso currency in favor of the U.S. dollar.

[...]

In various interviews, Milei has said he receives his best advice from Murray, Milton, Robert and Lucas. Murray, Milton, Robert and Lucas are four mastiffs − his dogs − who he refers to as his children.
Like Trump's Don Jr, Eric, Ivanka, and Jared.
On stage in front of an estimated 15,000 people, the former frontman in a Rolling Stones tribute band sang a nine-track set of mostly 1980s rock anthems.

[...]

Milei's book, "The Construction of the Miracle," compiles his speeches and social media posts going back several years. It's 573 pages.
Argentina's Trump.

Or maybe Trump is America's El Loco.

Doing her best

And I guess MAGA believes that.

She's right about one thing, though: farmers (except for the large corporate farms) don't like taking aid, because it makes people claim, rightly, that they're on welfare.  In the end, they'll take it, though.

Illinois farmers finding a way

Trump is going to have to make it illegal for farmers to sell direct to other countries.

And MAGA will buy it

Literally.  MAGA will buy it with higher prices due to tariffs - that's the "money that we've made."  And that's tariffs kicking in to farmers' benefit.

Jesus, people.

That's what's happening.  I'm not 100% sure that's what farmers want.  Sadly, many of them will support him trying to own the libs.

P.S.  There's not enough fake gold in that office.

While MAGA food bills soar and tariffs dip into their pockets...

I wonder how they're going to like this...

America First!

UPDATE 02:19 pm:  Maybe they won't need a bailout.

Noem v. Trump

Trump:  Let the farmers have their migrant workers.

Noem: Fuck the farmers.

South Dakota's Snow Queen is now Trump's Ice Queen.

It's quite possible that Trump's cabinet are running the country without serious regard to what he says, just gaslighting and twisting what they want the public to think he wants, because that's what they want.  It's also possible that he sends them out to do the dirty work while he just sends up trial balloons to see what's popular with his base so when he gives a speech, they cheer.

Nice little Nazi twat.

Going after the farm workers

They obviously don't take orders from Trump.  Or maybe they do, and Trump just pretends to care about farmers.

The idiotic Trump regime thinks they'll replace farmworkers with people they kick off Medicaid.

And when will ICE turn to hospitality and hotel workers?  Will Trump call them off that?

UPDATE 07/12/2025:

And, this is what happens when you hire 10,000 goons to ramp up arrests...

Expect a lot more of this, and worse.

Forced labor?

Where is she getting her information?  Or does she just have "concepts"?  These people are bonafide idiots.  Most people on Medicaid have jobs or are physically unable to work.

Also, have you seen immigrant farmworkers at work?  I have.  There's no way random Americans can replace that efficiency and speed.  Good luck trying to convince the farmers this could be a quick fix.

And, here's another great idea...

In a popular online video, a Democratic congresswoman, among others, claimed the U.S. House Republicans' "One Big Beautiful Bill Act" lowers the age of a dependent from 18 to 7.

The budget bill does lower the age of a dependent from under 18 to under 7, but only in the context of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, not across the board.

  Snopes
Only! Because 8-year-olds don't need to eat? This disgusting Snopes article was written before the bill passed. Here's the ugly shit that made it through...

Also, in that link, we're informed that the Orange Grinch is also cutting into help with heating and cooling expenses.

Poor people: Starve to death or freeze. Thank you for your attention to this matter!

All chaos, all the time

Trump hotels need their undocumented employees.  And farmers have a big ass lobby.

According to the Agriculture Department, 42% of crop farmworkers from 2020 to 2022 lacked legal status.

[...]

"Our farmers are being hurt badly," the president said during a bill-signing ceremony Thursday.

"They have very good workers," he continued. "They've worked for them for 20 years; they're not citizens, but they've turned out to be ... great, and we're going to have to do something about that."

  Axios
Expect lawsuits by the immigrants who are being rounded up and deported now who have been in the country working and being "good" for 20 years.
Top Trump aide Stephen Miller and Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem are calling for immigration agents to arrest 3,000 people a day.
