Michael Avenatti has come unglued
Of course, the several lawsuits he's been hauled up under, some of which may have criminal charges, may have something to do with it. And Stormy walking out on him. He's not being called onto all the TV shows any more. Losing his case against Trump. For starters.

I'm leaving them now. Who knows where it will end.
...but hey, do what you want...you will anyway.

Avenatti's troubles just keep mounting
And to think he once talked about running for president. Come to think of it, maybe he had a point. Trump's troubles keep mounting, too.
...but hey, do what you want...you will anyway.
Not the best idea for a smart lawyer.Celebrity lawyer Michael Avenatti has been accused of trying to lend his own client's money back to them, with interest. Gregory Barela says Avenatti had secured for him a settlement from an intellectual property dispute but never gave him the money, instead offering to lend it to him at 10 percent interest.
Newsweek
If true, and this goes to trial, I'm assuming Michael Avenatti will be looking for a new line of work.In a claim filed with Judicial Arbitration and Mediation Services, Barela accused Avenatti of “operating his law firm in a Ponzi scheme like manner, taking settlement proceeds received for clients to pay off debts, pay the other individual defendants’ salaries and bonuses, and fund his lavish lifestyle.”
The claim also said he that was “telling clients that the settlement proceeds had not been received or would be received at a later date,” The Daily Beast reported.
He's had a string of complaints that he says are completely fabricated. Either he's getting piled on by a lot of people who'd like to take him down, or he's the poster boy for shyster lawyers.Avenatti says the allegations “are completely fabricated, bogus and fraudulent. We have no idea where this is coming from or why someone would make up this ridiculous false story and deceive his attorneys.
...but hey, do what you want...you will anyway.

Friends again
You don't suppose it was all for publicity, do you?Adult film star Stormy Daniels and her attorney, Michael Avenatti, said Sunday that they have mended their brief public rift ahead of court hearings in their cases against President Trump and Michael Cohen.
"Pleased that Michael and I have sorted shit out and we know the accounting is on the up and up. We are going to kick ass together on two coasts tomorrow," Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, wrote on Twitter.
Avenatti later echoed Daniels' message, and shared that he would be in court in California on Monday to represent her in her case against Cohen.
The Hill
We'll see.In a statement last week to The Daily Beast, Daniels said Avenatti had filed the defamation lawsuit without her permission, and asserted that the attorney had not been forthcoming about details related to her legal defense fund.
A federal judge in October dismissed the defamation lawsuit, and attorneys for Trump are now requesting that Daniels pay them $340,000 in legal fees related to the case.
Avenatti said on Twitter on Monday that any attorneys fees awarded in the case "are but a small fraction of what Trump & Cohen will owe Stormy in the main NDA case."

This whole Stormy Daniels - Michael Avenatti deal is getting weirder by the minute
Why then is she just now having a problem with it?Michael Avenatti sued Donald Trump for defaming Stormy Daniels against her wishes, Daniels told The Daily Beast in a statement on Wednesday.
Avenatti also started a new fundraising site to raise money for her legal defense fund without telling her, Daniels said. She said she is not sure whether or not she will keep Avenatti on as her lawyer.
The Daily Beast
If this is true, which is kind of hard to believe, Avenatti is seriously messing up. If, on the other hand, it's part of a campaign to take him down that seems to be underway, I wonder how much money she's getting.“For months I’ve asked Michael Avenatti to give me accounting information about the fund my supporters so generously donated to for my safety and legal defense. He has repeatedly ignored those requests. Days ago I demanded again, repeatedly, that he tell me how the money was being spent and how much was left. Instead of answering me, without my permission or even my knowledge Michael launched another crowdfunding campaign to raise money on my behalf. I learned about it on Twitter."“I haven’t decided yet what to do about legal representation moving forward. Michael has been a great advocate in many ways. I’m tremendously grateful to him for aggressively representing me in my fight to regain my voice. But in other ways Michael has not treated me with the respect and deference an attorney should show to a client. He has spoken on my behalf without my approval. He filed a defamation case against Donald Trump against my wishes. He repeatedly refused to tell me how my legal defense fund was being spent. Now he has launched a new crowdfunding campaign using my face and name without my permission and attributing words to me that I never wrote or said. I’m deeply grateful to my supporters and they deserve to know their money is being spent responsibly. I don’t want to hurt Michael, but it’s time to set the record straight. The truth has always been my greatest ally."
This is the last thing posted on his Twitter account about Daniels - yesterday:

It's just hard to imagine he would be doing things without his client's consent. He's a well-established, smart lawyer. But, the world is upside down, so???? I imagine he will have something posted about this story soon.
Very weird.
...but hey, do what you want...you will anyway.

Avenatti arrest update
The 47-year-old Avenatti — was booked by LA police Wednesday afternoon on a charge of felony intimate partner violence.
Avenatti was released within several hours after posting $50,000 bail.
[...]
"I want to be clear: I DID NOT commit domestic violence nor have I ever committed domestic violence," Avenatti said in a tweet Thursday.
"I did not strike any woman, nor have I ever."
[...]
The news site TMZ was the first outlet to report the arrest — but erroneously stated that Avenatti's estranged wife, Lisa Storie-Avenatti, had filed the police report against him.
Storie-Avenatti's lawyer said, "Ms. Storie-Avenatti was not subject to any such incident on Tuesday night. Further, she was not at Mr. Avenatti's apartment on the date that this alleged incident occurred."
Storie-Avenatti told CNN: "I haven't seen Michael in months. It's a complete fabrication. It's a lie. It's all a lie."
"He wouldn't hit anybody. Especially a woman. He's got two daughters," Storie-Avenatti said.
"My client states that there has never been domestic violence in her relationship with Michael and that she has never known Michael to be physically violent toward anyone," the wife's lawyer said.
[...]
In his own tweet Thursday morning, Avenatti compared the allegation against him to a recent unsubstantiated claim by 20-year-old internet provocateur Jacob Wohl that special counsel Robert Mueller had committed sexual misconduct against a woman in 2010. Mueller is investigating Russian interference in the 2016 election that sent Trump to the White House.
Wohl's purported private investigative company Surefire Intelligence — whose original phone number connected to the house of Wohl's mother — tweeted Wednesday after Avenatti's arrest that "Surefire Intelligence strikes again."
[...]
Wohl told CNBC he contacted police to report "Michael Avenatti's criminal threats against me," and he provided CNBC with the number for that report. Irvine, California, police said they took a report with that same number Thursday.
CNBC
Avenatti on Wednesday denied all charges.
"I have never been physically abusive in my life nor was I last night," he said in a statement on Wednesday. "Any accusations to the contrary are fabricated and meant to do harm to my reputation. I look forward to being fully exonerated.”
NBC
Avenatti's first wife, Christine Avenatti Carlin, said on Twitter that Avenatti was always a kind and loving father and husband. "He has NEVER been abusive to me or anyone else," she said. "He is a good man."
And his second wife, Lisa Storie-Avenatti, denied reports on a gossip website that she was the victim. Through her attorney, she said she wasn't at Avenatti's apartment when the alleged incident occurred, had never been abused by Avenatti and never knew him to be violent.
The two divorced last year.
USA Today

So....was the report that he said, "She hit me first," also a lie?
Stay tuned.

WTF??
If true, he's losing it. And this isn't his only legal issue. He was just ordered to pay a huge settlement and was evicted from his office.Michael Avenatti, the attorney representing porn actor Stormy Daniels in her legal pursuit of President Trump, has been arrested on suspicion of domestic violence in Los Angeles, police confirmed.
Avenatti had not yet been booked, but a report on the alleged incident was taken on Tuesday, Los Angeles police said.
Buzzfeed
I didn't know he had anyone to domestically be violent against.
"She hit me first"??Our law enforcement sources say Avenatti was arrested Wednesday after his estranged wife filed a felony DV report. We're told her face was "swollen and bruised."
Our sources say the alleged incident occurred Tuesday, but there was a confrontation Wednesday between the two at an exclusive apartment building in the Century City area of L.A.
[...]
A law enforcement source says on Tuesday, Avenatti "kicked her out of the apartment" and that's presumably when the alleged domestic violence occurred. We're told she went back to the apartment on Wednesday to retrieve her belongings and called police to stand by in case things got heated.
They've been married since 2011. He filed for divorce in 2017.
We're told Avenatti is currently in custody.
[...]
We're told during Wednesday's confrontation the woman ran out of the apartment building and was on the sidewalk on her cellphone with sunglasses covering her eyes, screaming on the phone, "I can't believe you did this to me."
We're told security brought her inside the building and Michael showed up 5 minutes later, ran into the building, chasing after her. He screamed repeatedly, "She hit me first." We're told he angrily added, "This is bulls***, this is f***ing bulls***."
TMZ
Pathetic. I'm thinking he better drop his plans to run for president in 2020.

He just lost me for good

Personally, I'm ready for a black woman, but I'll take whoever is willing to actually do the best thing for the entire country and the world.
That said, if we actually get to the point of Trump v. Avenatti, I'll take Avenatti.

Bread and circuses
Julie Swetnick, the third accuser of Kavanaugh to come forward, is going to have her MSNBC interview aired on Sunday. Appropriately, the program on which it will air is called "The Circus." According to the current plan, the Judiciary Committee will already have voted by then.
...but hey, do what you want...you will anyway.
I bet.Richard Vinneccy, 63, [an ex-boyfriend of Julie Swetnick] suggested to [Politico on Wednesday] that he has "a lot of facts" to dispute the claims of Julie Swetnick, who is represented by attorney Michael Avenatti and came forward with her claims on Wednesday.
"She’s not credible at all,” he said. “Not at all.”
Vinneccy said he wanted to speak to an attorney before going into more detail about what evidence he has to disprove her claims.
The Hill
If it's true that she threatened harm to his family and he had to get a restraining order, I think that IS relevant. I wonder why Avenatti didn't know whether she had a restraining order. Here I've been thinking he's smart. Wouldn't a smart attorney have checked into client's background on something like this? What a world we have created.Politico reported that Vinneccy filed a restraining order against Swetnick in 2001. He told the news outlet that they dated for four years, and she later threatened to hurt his wife and their baby.
Avenatti told Politico that he did not know whether Swetnick had a restraining order filed against her, but called it irrelevant.
“I am disgusted by the fact that the press is attacking a sexual assault victim,” Avenatti said, according to Politico.
"Complete nonsense. This guy is a fraud," he told The Hill.
...but hey, do what you want...you will anyway.
Avenatti smells blood

Some of Avenatti's act is an act. He may not be a narcissist, but he's certainly extremely self-confident, and he has a big TV presence now. Some of Avenatti's act is poking the bear. Now that Trump has finally been goaded into calling him names publicly, he's going all in. It's fun to him. And he's a smart lawyer.
Trump is in the ring with a bare knuckle pro. And the audience loves a fight.

Might be hard to do from a prison cell.
I don't expect Junior has any idea of Avenatti's accomplishments. One of them is apparently ringing in idiots. Not answering the challenge, but poking at Junior instead is also likely calculated to goad Daddy.
Avenatti's client Julie Swetnick went on MSNBC:
