This is what democracy looks like

Such a difference from Trump's "get 'em outta here!" and "punch 'em in the head - I'll pay your legal bills" tyrannical attitude.

I didn't see how long that went on. Sometimes she says sternly, "You guys have a right to be heard, but right now, I'm speaking." I never see how that ends, either.

I assume somebody comes and escorts the protestors out.

The crowd went wild

Must be why Trump is screaming fraud in Pennsylvania.

Gonna need more ketchup at Mar-A-Lago.

...but hey, do what you want...you will anyway.

Brilliant

Also brilliant:  they posted this on Trump's social media platform:

And I'd like this for a TV ad:

Sad!

And he said there were 40 or 50 thousand people outside.  LOL.

Contrast...Kamala in Nevada today...

Kamala in North Carolina

According to Trump on debate night, people don't go to Kamala's rallies.

Literally every rally she's had has been like this.

Click here to see the extent.

It started when she said people leave his rallies early, bored.

I've seen several clips of people streaming out of his rallies before he's finished.

...but hey, do what you want...you will anyway.

UPDATE 05:36 pm:

Sad!

And that looks like an all white audience.

UPDATE 11:11 pm:  And then she packed a stadium in Greensboro, NC the same day.

Harris/Walz in Las Vegas

UPDATE 08/11/2024:
Harris-Walz campaign spokesperson Lauren Hitt clarified to the Associated Press that Walz “misspoke” over a 2018 video about “weapons of war that I carried in war”.

[...]

“Governor Walz would never insult or undermine any American’s service to this country – in fact, he thanks Senator Vance for putting his life on the line for our country. It’s the American way,” Hitt said.

“In making the case for why weapons of war should never be on our streets or in our classrooms, the governor misspoke. He did handle weapons of war and believes strongly that only military members trained to carry those deadly weapons should have access to them, unlike Donald Trump and JD Vance who prioritize the gun lobby over our children.”

A misstep they can't afford. Hopefully, there aren't others lurking in the past.
“It is my promise to everyone here when I am president we will continue to fight for working families, including to raise the minimum wage and eliminate taxes on tips for service and hospitality workers,” Harris said.
Beautifully, quietly stepped in and robbed Trump of his "no tax on tips" campaign point.

Harris campaign In Arizona

Trump recently declared his crowd sizes are bigger than Martin Luther King's, to which someone posted "I have a dream that one day you'll be judged by the size of your crowds and not by the color of your skin."

...but hey, do what you want...you will anyway.

They're going to need more ketchup at Mar-A-Lago

He doesn't want all the pictures of his crowd size compared to hers.  THAT's why he's not out there.

Oooh

Harris/Walz launch in Philadelphia

We're not going back.

BTW, Shapiro was very good.

I can see him on his way to the White House one day.

Both he and Harris have Obama cadence/vibes (Shapiro brings more fire).

Republicans will be attacking Walz hard over the George Floyd riots.  I assume Harris and Walz are ready for that.  Their "Tampon Tim" jabs are nothing compared to the riot attacks he'll be under.

(Tampon Tim because he had the audacity to provide free menstrual products in schools.)

UPDATE 08/07/2024:

I'm of two minds about this, but I will admit that my immediate reaction to Walz' "joke" was negative.  Younger people probably weren't wincing, and likely even cheered it.  Today's insult culture seems pervasive.  And maybe, to use the Harris/Walz catchphrase, we're not going back.
