All in the family

Also, Trump didn't go to the wedding.  I assume it wasn't because  he didn't get invited.

He probably planned a false flag assassination attempt to coincide with the wedding.

So now we can stop wondering

Some never wondered.  They always assumed Barron was just another fucking Trump.

Andrew Tate found modest fame as a professional kickboxer in the 2010s, but as he tells it, he didn’t start making real money until he and his brother went into pornography.

[...]

[Tate] nurtured relationships with Donald Trump Jr. and his younger brother Barron, who recognized the role that young male voters could play in their father’s return to power.

Barron, now 19, admired Andrew, and spoke with him over Zoom last year, according to Justin Waller, a mutual friend who was on the call. During the call, they discussed their shared belief that the Romanian criminal case was an effort to silence the Tates, he said.

"I just heard about that"..."I don't know what it is she's doing."  But I'm here to announce it.  Brilliant.

Jesus Mary & Joseph

 Weaponizing government much?

THE TRUMP ADMINISTRATION IS SENDING aggressive signals about launching a potential federal investigation into the company that owns Politico and Business Insider as retaliation for an article scrutinizing Donald Trump Jr.’s business interests.

In a Tuesday-night story little noticed outside of right-wing media, Breitbart reporter and Trump administration favorite Matthew Boyle wrote that the White House was furious at German media conglomerate Axel Springer. At issue was a Business Insider story titled “Don Jr. is the new Hunter Biden.” In the 1,500-word-long item, reporter Bethany McLean focused on Don Jr.’s venture-capital fund, 1789 Capital, primarily via a collection of quotes from some ethics experts and an anonymous Wall Street investor concerned that the fund could present a conflict of interest.

[...]

A global media giant, Axel Springer had worked to build inroads with Trump. The company is, by the standards of journalism, pretty conservative. Axel Springer employees in Europe are required to take a pledge to support Israel. And in 2020, CEO Mathias Döpfner asked some of his employees to gather and pray for Trump’s re-election.

  The Bulwark
As we all know by now, loyalty/favor only goes one way with Trump.
The story was relatively anodyne, certainly in a world where the president is poised to receive a $400 million luxury jet from a foreign country and boosting a meme coin by offering White House access. And Business Insider isn’t the first media outlet to compare Don Jr. to Hunter Biden.

But Boyle wrote that the Business Insider article had opened up Axel Springer to a “massive” federal review of its ownership.

[...]

A defining characteristic of the Trump 2.0 administration has been its overt attempts to use the tools of the government on—and threats of lawsuits against—major news outlets. It has often worked: Networks have made multimillion-dollar settlements with Trump. Newspapers like the Washington Post have dramatically revamped their editorial pages in apparent attempts at currying favor.

[...]

“Wow is this true [AxelSpringer]??” right-wing figure Jack Posobiec posted on X. “Looking bad!”

“Time to drop the hammer on @AxelSpringer!!!” wrote former Trump adviser Jason Miller.

[...]

First-term Trump official Cliff Sims agreed, telling Boyle that comparing the Biden scion to the Trump scion meant Business Insider is a “disgrace to journalism.”

[...]

THIS IS NOT THE FIRST SERIES OF BAD STORIES that Axel Springer has had to navigate during the Trump administration. A bizarre confluence of events earlier this year inspired a conspiracy theory on the right that USAID had been secretly funding Politico. In reality, the agency (like others) had been paying for pricey government subscriptions to Politico’s premium offerings, which it promptly canceled when word got out.

But the latest round of controversy represents a much bigger potential threat. The loss of a small portion of Politico Pro revenue is minor compared to the price tag of defending against a potentially drawn-out government investigation into whether your organization amounts to a foreign influence-peddling operation.
You may not disparage the Trumps.

These dipshits think it's a game

 I know something important!

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth shared detailed information about forthcoming strikes in Yemen on March 15 in a private Signal group chat that included his wife, brother and personal lawyer, according to four people with knowledge of the chat.

Some of those people said that the information Mr. Hegseth shared on the Signal chat included the flight schedules for the F/A-18 Hornets targeting the Houthis in Yemen — essentially the same attack plans that he shared on a separate Signal chat the same day that mistakenly included the editor of The Atlantic.

[...]

Mr. Hegseth created the separate Signal group initially as a forum for discussing routine administrative or scheduling information, two of the people familiar with the chat said. The people said Mr. Hegseth typically did not use the chat to discuss sensitive military operations and said it did not include other cabinet-level officials.

[...]

Unlike the chat in which The Atlantic was mistakenly included [created by NSA Mike Waltz], the newly revealed one was created by Mr. Hegseth. It included his wife and about a dozen other people from his personal and professional inner circle in January, before his confirmation as defense secretary, and was named “Defense | Team Huddle,” the people familiar with the chat said. He used his private phone, rather than his government one, to access the Signal chat.

[...]

Jennifer Hegseth has drawn attention for the access her husband has given her. Mr. Hegseth brought her into two meetings with foreign military counterparts in February and early March where sensitive information was discussed.

[...]

One person familiar with the chat said Mr. Hegseth’s aides had warned him a day or two before the Yemen strikes not to discuss such sensitive operational details in his Signal group chat, which, while encrypted, is not considered as secure as government channels typically used for discussing highly sensitive war planning and combat operations.

It was unclear how Mr. Hegseth, a veteran and former Fox New host who before his confirmation in January had never previously served in a high-level government position, responded to those warnings.

  NYT
I'd say it's very clear.

Impeach the motherfucker.

UPDATE 04/21/2025:

I think this usually happens right before somebody gets the axe.

Officially exiled from the movement.  LOL

They DO have to find someone as pliable as Hegseth before they replace him.

Jesus, Joseph, and Mary

You don' t have to listen to this nimrod.  In fact, I'd advise against it.  But just watch this clip.  WTF is he on?

Wednesday, February 5, 2025

Jesus, Joseph, & Mary!

I spent one day off the doom machine, and, as for each day since Trump went to the White House, that day was worse than all the ones before it.

Trump is talking about ethnic cleansing of Gaza - but more than that - about going in to "take ownership" of the Strip!  What in blue blazes!  The man is a certified madman.  Is he perhaps syphilitic?  Just asking questions.

Let's see.  What else did I learn last night?  He's also cleaning out the CIA.  He's shutting down the Department of Education and NOAA, the weather service!

Trump insanely said the US is going to occupy Gaza at a joint press conference with Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu tonight: “The US will take over the Gaza Strip - and we will do a good job with it too. We’ll own it. We’ll level the site.” He then said we are going to go in there and develop it with new properties - it is oceanfront property after all.

When asked by a reporter if he was talking about a permanent occupation of Gaza by the US: “I do see a long-term ownership position” for the US. He then said he would use military force if necessary.

Trump in the Oval Office earlier today: “The Gaza has not worked. It has never worked. I think they should get a good fresh piece of land. I don’t know how they could want to stay. It’s a demolition site. If we could find the right piece of land or numerous pieces of land and build them some nice places - could be Jordan, could be in Egypt.”

  Meidas Touch
Hmmmm...kind of like moving the decimated Jewish populatios to a piece of land and calling it Israel? ("The Gaza.")
Earlier today, demented Trump said if Iran assassinates him he “left instructions” to “obliterate” their country. He said this from the Oval Office while announcing new sanctions against Iran and warning them not to try and retaliate that way: "If they did that, they would be obliterated. I left instructions.”
An honest to goodness madman. Joined in federal office by other madmen...
But Trump’s new right-wing white nationalist conspiracy theorist State Department Spokesman Darren Beattie said last September that he really thinks our own intelligence agencies have been trying to have Trump killed, not Iran: “It's more likely that the intelligence officials telling Trump that Iran is behind assassination attempts are actually the ones behind the assassination attempts, than it is for Iran being behind the assassination attempts.”

[...]

Axios reported that about 20,000 federal employees have accepted the buyout offered to them last week by Musk, which is only about 1% of the federal government workforce. That number is way lower than he expected, as Musk reportedly predicted that 5-10% would accept the offer. However, the offer is open until this Thursday so we will see if more people fall for this.
Total insanity. And if those people think they're going to get paid without going to court, god bless 'em.
Trump nominated right-wing podcaster Sean Parnell to be Pete Hegseth’s Chief Pentagon Spokesperson and Asst. Sec Def. Trump endorsed Parnell for Senate in PA in 2022, but he dropped out of the race when he lost custody of his children after his wife testified in court that Parnell abused her and their children by choking her and pinning her down, and also struck one of their children in a fit of rage.
Trump's type.
Hegseth announced that the first flights of migrants to Guantanamo Bay started today. Trump’s executive order allows for up to 30,000 to be housed there while their deportation cases are litigated.

[...]

Trump said that he wants other countries to start housing our prison inmates, and President Nayib Bukele of El Salvador said he is willing to accept the offer: "We have offered the US the opportunity to outsource part of its prison system. We are willing to take in convicted criminals (including convicted US citizens) into our mega-prison (CECOT) in exchange for a fee. The fee would be relatively low for the US but significant for us, making our entire prison system sustainable."
What a fantastic idea! Holy Mary, Mother of God.
Immigration Law expert Aaron Reichlin-Melnick: “Okay, but that's not a thing. I don't care what Bukele says, the US cannot legally banish Americans - such authorities died centuries ago and are the relic of a time of terra nullius. It just is not legal under any modern international laws either.”
You people need to find some other cry. Illegal! is't working. He just keeps doing illegal - and unconstitutional - shit.
Canadian MP Charlie Angus told Meidas Touch that Trump lost the tariff battle: “He blinked. He choked. Two days ago, he was telling us that if we didn’t give up our nationhood, the tariffs would stay on. Then we hit him with $125 billion in tariffs. We pulled KY booze off our shelves. Then we said, ‘You’re getting another $25 billion right after that.’ The market started to tank, and suddenly, he said, ‘Oh, didn’t you guys already have a plan to deal with the border back in December? I love that—I’ll take that.’ This is Mr. Art of the Deal.”

[...]

WaPo columnist Catherine Rampell on CNN: “Trump is trying to repackage the status quo as a victory. That's what the leaders of these foreign countries are learning. You don't actually have to give Trump anything. You just have to let him announce victory on TV.”

[...]

NYT reports that a DC judge just awarded the Proud Boys’ trademarks to the Metropolitan African Methodist Episcopal Church. Proud Boys can’t legally use the name and the church can seize the proceeds of any merchandise sold with that name or logo. The church sued the Proud Boys after they destroyed Black Lives Matter signs outside their building. They got a $1 million judgment which PBs refused to pay, so the judge ordered this as an alternative.
Well, thank whatever gods there be for one small bit of good news. Oh, and this...
Italian Green Party politician Andrea Zanoni filed a complaint with a court in Italy accusing Donald Trump Jr. of illegally killing an endangered Ruddy Shelduck bird near Venice, Italy during a recent hunting trip. Local environmentalists and Italian MPs have joined the formal complaint and called for an investigation.
Lock him up and keep him. You'll be protecting the world.

Do we get to know which ones those are?

Are we sure Elon is not simply implementing Project 2025 for Russ Vought and Stephen Miller?

At any rate, it does seem like the country is being hijacked by a vengeful madman and a Bond villain.

YOU own this, Rand Paul.  You and your greedy, soulless colleagues in the GOP Congress.

ASSHAT.

Do Democrats STILL not get it?

Thursday, January 9, 2025

Sigh, without surprise

Local Tom Amtoft: “It was homeless and old people who can’t make ends meet who can suddenly eat at a restaurant they’ve never been to before. All they have to do is put on a cap and be in Trump’s staff’s videos.”

Amtoft said that he watched Trump’s team talk to people about wearing the hats while telling them to be enthusiastic when they were being filmed: “It was a very aggressive and selective selection of people who would say that Greenland could be bought.”

Employees of the hotel confirmed that Trump’s people were walking around outside in the street handing out hats and inviting them into the hotel for a free lunch. One of the individuals recruited to be in the videos was living under a bridge nearby.

Trouble in Trumpland

Looks like the MAGA v Musk vibes are not all that's unraveling Trumpworld.
Donald Trump Jr. has trashed his father’s annual New Year’s Eve bash at Mar-a-Lago on his “Triggered with Don Jr.” podcast, calling it “amateur night” and saying guests have often treated him like a “freaking imbecile.”

  Daily Beast
If the shoe fits...
First buddy Elon Musk had his son, X, on his shoulders; Lara Trump, wife of Don Jr.’s brother Eric and former co-chair of the Republican National Committee, took to the mic with her rendition of Tom Petty’s classic "I Won’t Back Down."

Don Jr. could even be seen hamming it up with his new girlfriend, socialite model Bettina Anderson.

But the president-elect’s eldest son revealed before the big night that ringing in 2025 would be “a little rough.”

“I get to be around a thousand drunk people giving me their political opinions that I don’t necessarily want to hear,” he told his podcast guest Peter Schweizer. (Trump Jr. has reportedly been sober for over two decades.)
Sober, maybe, but drug-free? I don't think so.
“This’ll be like year, like nine of, ‘Hey, you know, have you ever thought to maybe have your dad not tweet that?’” he said. “I’m like, no, I’ve never thought that ‘cause I’m a freaking imbecile.”

[...]

“You wouldn’t know it but I’m basically a recluse… I’m okay with a mic when I have a big crowd, but I don’t like being around a lot of people if I can avoid it. I like fishing, hunting and, like, two people."
Hahahahahahahaha. Sure, Donny. Sure.

...but hey, do what you want...you will anyway.

The apple doesn't fall far from the tree

President-elect Donald Trump‘s eldest son shared a video, originally posted by former GOP vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, in his Instagram stories on Saturday, that includes a clip of a stoic-looking Zelensky standing next to Trump.

“POV: You’re 38 Days from losing your allowance,” reads a caption.

[...]

And it’s not just Don Jr. who has slung insults—Trump himself has belittled the Ukrainian president, so it’s little surprise that his lapdog MAGA son would echo his rhetoric.

“I see Zelenskyy is here,“ Trump told a September campaign rally ahead of the United Nations General Assembly. “I think Zelenskyy is the greatest salesman in history – every time he comes into the country, he walks away with $60 billion.”

Before Trump takes office in January, the Biden administration is reportedly planning to rush billions in aid to Ukraine to give Kyiv a buffer before it has to deal with Trump.

  Daily Beast
Yeah, well, if Biden's administration had given Ukraine what they needed when Russia first invaded, this wouldn't be necessary. So, fuck Biden.

And Junior also got away with crimes. The whole despicable mob family does.

Fraud penalty verdict is out

Should have been permanently, but we'll take it.

...but hey, do what you want...you will anyway.
In a series of posts on his Truth Social platform after the decision, Trump railed against Judge Arthur Engoron and said there “were No Victims, No Damages, No Complaints.”

He went on to further criticize Engoron and New York Attorney General Letitia James (D) in multiple posts, saying the New York case was a “witch hunt” and that he was fined “$355 Million based on nothing other than having built a GREAT COMPANY.”

[...]

Additionally, the Trump campaign sent out an email an hour after the ruling calling on his supporters to donate to his presidential bid to “end the which hunt” against him.

  The Hill
AKA pay the fine for him.
Donald Trump, his eldest sons and associates have been ordered to pay over $350m by a New York judge who found them guilty of intentionally committing financial fraud over the course of a decade.

“The frauds found here leap off the page and shock the conscience,” Judge Arthur Engoron wrote in his decision. In a devastating blow for the former president who had built his reputation as a successful real estate developer, Engoron barred Trump and two other executives from serving as officers or directors of any corporation or entity in New York for three years. His sons, Eric and Donald Trump Jr, were banned for two years.

[...]

“Overall, Donald Trump rarely responded to the questions asked and he frequently interjected long, irrelevant speeches on issues far beyond the scope of the trial. His refusal to answer the questions directly, or in some cases, at all, severely compromised his credibility,” Engoron wrote.

In his decision Engoron said the defendants’ “fact and expert witnesses simply denied reality, and defendants failed to accept responsibility or to impose internal controls to prevent future recurrences” adding the defendants “complete lack of contrition and remorse borders on pathological”.

  Guardian
I think it crosses the border.
The decision will make it hard for any Trump family member to run the business in the near future. Trump’s adult sons were each fined $4m. Eric Trump acts as the Trump Organization’s chief executive.

[...]

Trump has denied all wrongdoing and will probably appeal the decision.
There's no "probably" to it.
In Friday’s verdict, Engoron overturned his initial ruling, saying that “the cancellation of the business licenses is no longer necessary” as he is ordering the appointment of two court monitors to oversee “major activities that could lead to fraud”.

[...]

In determining the size of the fine, Engoron agreed with prosecutors that Trump saved about $168m in interest by inflating the value of assets. Another $126m came from calculating the “ill-gotten profits” Trump received from selling the Old Post Office building in Washington DC, which Trump would not have been able to purchase, Engoron said, without using false financial statements.

"AND" saddled him with a monitor?

UPDATE 06:05 pm:  Seriously deluded...

And having to have someone monitor his business must just burn him up.

While interest continues to accrue?

The emails to gullible MAGA supporters are going to be daily, if not hourly.
In his initial summary judgement ruling, which was handed down in September, Judge Engoron ordered some of Mr Trump's business licenses be rescinded — a punishment widely known as "corporate death penalty".

That order was on hold while Mr Trump appealed, but in Saturday's ruling, the judge has backed off from that move, describing it as being "no longer necessary".

The former president could be forced to pay the hundreds of millions of dollars in fines while he appeals.

Former prosecutor Mitchell Epner said this could take up to 36 months as the appeal process in New York tends to be very slow.

[...]

"[This will] create a real cash flow crunch for Donald Trump, even if he's as wealthy as he contends he is."

[...]

[Trump's] lawyer and spokeswoman Alina Habba confirmed the former president will be appealing the ruling.

If the decision were to stand, "it will serve as a signal to every single American that New York is no longer open for business," she said.

  ABC
Not "every single American." The wiser ones will get the signal that you can't perform fraud in New York without getting smacked down.

If he doesn't come up with the nearly half a billion dollars he has been fined to put in holding while on appeal, New York can begin the process of seizing his properties.

Of course, Trump won't be paying the fines and damages.  The Saudis, Russians, Jared, the RNC, and Trump rubes will.
