Trump is back on Twitter (X)

His first Xit is his mug shot.

Trump reclaimed direct access on Thursday to the public on the platform that banned him following the January 6, 2021, attack on the US Congress by his supporters.

Elon Musk reinstated Trump’s account last year soon after acquiring Twitter, which he later rebranded to X.

LOL.  Looks tough, doesn't he?  Aggressive!  The sheriff's badge in the background is much further away than anyone else's (but not quite so much further than in Eastman's mug shot).

I wish they took those mug shots that include a profile pic and where the perp holds up a letter board with their booking number on it.  Better yet, one that hangs around their neck.

Jenna Ellis and David Shafer never met a camera they didn't like.

Jeffrey Clark and Mark Meadows have had their bonds set at $100,000.  For comparison, Trump's is $200,000, Rudy's is $150,000, and Ellis and Eastman's are $100,000. The fake electors are generally much lower - as low as $10,000.

UPDATE 08/25/2023:  Clark surrendered overnight Thursday, after Trump and before the Friday noon deadline.

*They allowed him to simply self-report his height and weight.  He chose 6'3" and 215 pounds.  To be fair, flab does weigh less than muscle, but still.

UPDATE 08/26/2023:  Ex-Trump lawyer Ty Cobb says Trump's mug shot looks like a Batman villain.  I don't think so.  I think he looks like a 3-year-old trying to look fierce.  Laughable.

UPDATE 09/01/2023:  He also reported his hair color as "strawberry blonde".  LOL.  What a diva.
