Ouch!

Looks like Chris Cuomo had to school Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL).

Even if he had known what the term meant, or even if it meant what he thought it meant, it still wouldn't have made sense, because neither the immaculate conception or the birth of Jesus were "coincidences". Not to mention, he says he's a Christian, and he's denegrating a Christian tenet (although I don't think that's what he thinks he's doing) by referring to it as "an absurd coincidence." Is that wise for a Republican? I have yet to see a self-confessed Christian Congressman who actually behaves like one. But they don't come out with ridiculing statements ridiculing the faith.

And, while we're on the subject of the missing text messages - Voila! They are found.
Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz told Sens. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) and Ron Johnson (R-Wisc.) in a letter that the messages spanning from December 2016 to May 2017, previously though missing due to a technological glitch affecting FBI phones, have been found.

“The [Office of the Inspector General] has been investigating this matter, and, this week, succeeded in using forensic tools to recover text messages from FBI devices,” the letter read.

[...]

The glitch that resulted in their missing messages reportedly affected thousands of FBI phones.

[...]

Horowitz wrote in the letter to Johnson and Grassley that his office will provide copies of the recovered texts to the Justice Department, after which leadership can decide how to proceed with distributing the information to Senate committees.

  The Hill
Welp. There goes a GOP screeching point. Representative Gaetz embarrassed himself for nothing.

...but hey, do what you want...you will anyway.

P.S.  Until I was labeling this post, I didn't realize Rep. Gaetz had already made it to YWA.  He was on an Air Force One trip recently with Trump:
A Florida congressman who has said that the country is at risk of a “coup d’etat” by Special Counsel Robert Mueller says he warned President Donald Trump personally last week that Mueller’s Russia investigation is “infected with bias” against the president.

Rep. Matt Gaetz, a freshman Republican, said he issued the warning during a flight on Air Force One with Trump ahead of a Friday evening rally in Pensacola.

In a phone interview, Gaetz said he stopped short of encouraging Trump to fire Mueller, though he has recommended that step repeatedly in public statements.

[...]

“I did say that I was concerned that this investigation was infected with bias,” he said he told the president. “He said, ‘That’s why you guys have got to do your job.’”

  Politico
So surely now Mueller will have to interview Gaetz. Maybe they're just trying to prolong the investigation. Well, that, and muddy it.
Gaetz has emerged as one of the top advocates in Congress for restricting or ending the Mueller investigation. “We are at risk of a coup d'etat in this country if we allow an unaccountable person with no oversight to undermine the duly-elected President of the United States,” he said recently on the House floor.
Something tells me Gaetz may be one of the Congress scum who are afraid of what the Mueller team might turn up about himself personally.
Now that I've seen this current showing, I'll amend that to read: afraid of what Mueller might turn up on him personally or just a whore trying to climb his way into the limelight and ingratiate himself with the current president. Which would also be a huge lapse of good judgment on Gaetz' part.
