Will FoxNews pay a price for complicity?

We can only hope. And that it costs them some serious money/legal consequences.

I just watched a very good Netflix series: Dirty Money. (Have to admit I didn't watch much of the one about payday loans because I couldn't stand to see and hear the SOBs who got busted whining and defending their actions.) For some reason, this post reminded me of the one about money laundering by HSBC. It is absolutely mind-boggling that the bank admitted to all charges and yet the Obama administration reached an agreement with them that put no one in jail, did nothing to actually stop their Mexican drug cartel money laundering system, and only fined them less than $2 billion. And, apparently, the Trump administration dropped whatever criminal charges were left.

...but hey, do what you want...you will anyway.

P.S. The last of that Netflix series is about a con man: Donald Trump's business endeavors and real estate "empire".

PLAYER: Act natural. You know why you're here at least.

GUILDENSTERN: We only know what we're told, and that's little enough. And for all we know it isn't even true.

PLAYER: For all anyone knows, nothing is. Everything has to be taken on trust; truth is only that which is taken to be true. It's the currency of living. There may be nothing behind it, but it doesn't make any difference so long as it is honoured. One acts on assumptions.
