Regrets

While Trump is blaming Jared Kushner for the eventual Mueller investigation, I wonder if he has an ounce of regret over the stupid shit he himself has said and done.  None perhaps will prove more stupid and more damaging than this in late July of the campaign (after Papadopolous was already, unbeknownst to the Trump campaign, working for Mueller, and the campaign already knew the Russians had hacked Hillary):

Despite credible allegations that he was highly leveraged to Russian creditors and that his properties in the past had, at minimum, been used by Russian money launderers and gangsters, [Trump] refused to release his tax returns to the public, an issue he continues to sidestep to this day.

I almost forgot. When Mueller gets as far as subpoenaing Trump's tax returns, The Most Notable Loser have to know he's screwed. If anything makes him step down, keeping his tax returns from the public might just be it.
