The GOP Convention

There was nothing conventional about the GOP Convention. All the crooks and felons were there, and none of the old guard. Hulk Hogan was given a spot on the stage, and he used it to rip off his shirt.

That lower picture is a scene from the film "Idiocracy" of the president giving the SOTU speech.

Hogan fit right in to the Convention though. It was pretty much, by all accounts, a WWW show.

Ultimate Fighting Championship President Dana White called Trump “a real American bad ass.” Kid Rock performed a song with the chorus, “Fight, fight!” And wrestling icon Hulk Hogan described the former president as “an American hero.”

Might not seem so heroic.

For a wound that didn't require stitches, that's an awfully large bandage. And who the hell bandages a wound like that anyway? And how long is he going to wear it?

I'm at a loss to imagine why he thinks that's a desirable look. It looks ridiculous. Maybe he's pretending half his ear was taken off, and when he unbandages it, we're going to see a miracle?

1) Trumpamaniacs is a good name for them; and

2) Trump himself is a convicted criminal. Will they run wild on him?

That's the gear of the guy who was killed at the rally that "wounded" Trump. As far as I have seen, he still has never called the man's wife.

I think Trump chose Vance because he's the most MAGA choice and had Junior and Elon Musk's votes, and I've been wondering how long it will take Trump to realize Vance is outshining him and regret the choice.

PLAYER: For all anyone knows, nothing is. Everything has to be taken on trust; truth is only that which is taken to be true. It's the currency of living. There may be nothing behind it, but it doesn't make any difference so long as it is honoured. One acts on assumptions.
