JFC, Joe

President Joe Biden's latest effort to soothe panicked House Democrats Friday fell flat after he showed up late to a zoom meeting, skeptics couldn't ask questions, and one zoom attendee promptly came out against him.

Biden met with members of a progressive BOLD PAC associated with the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, as he leads on key constituencies even as dozens of members of his own party call for him to go.

Biden was an hour late to an event that was 'tightly controlled,' NOTUS reported in a blow-by-blow of the bizarre session, following reports that Biden's cabinet meetings are also highly scripted. (Biden once again called from a prepared list of reporters at his press conference.

[Mike] Levin, a California Democrat who is the grandson of Mexican immigrants, used his turn to call for Biden to step back.

Within minutes of the call, the lawmaker put out a statement saying it was time for Biden to 'pass the torch.' It was the 19th such call from Congress Biden has faced since his debate disaster.

Several swing-district members — including Reps. Gabe Vasquez (D-N.M.) and Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (D-Wash.) — used the raise hand function but had it "repeatedly" lowered, one of the sources said.

Nice.
The call ran about 30 minutes, during which Mr. Biden took three questions from members. In a nutshell, Levin told the president he's accomplished a great deal in the last three years, but Trump is a threat to democracy and it's time to pass the torch to a younger generation. Levin is not of Hispanic heritage, but was on the call because he represents a district that is more than 25% Hispanic.

Thirty whole minutes for the Hispanics. I guess being an hour late cuts into your time, eh?

Gaslighting. Joe doesn't' give a shit.
Biden also met with the political arm of the Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus, ASPIRE PAC, on Friday.

The ASPIRE PAC meeting went much smoother than BOLD PAC's, according to a source briefed on the call who said it was "incredibly staid" and consisted of four members asking "softball" questions.

Biden's talks with lawmakers will continue into the weekend, with the president scheduled to meet with the Progressive Caucus and the center-left New Democrat Coalition on Saturday.

More worthless "talks"?

...but hey, do what you want...you will anyway.
