Joe Biden's God complex could destroy us

He gave a press conference.  I didn't watch, but I gather it was not likely to improve his position.

At the conference, he introduced Zelensky as President Putin, and then corrected himself.

Asked if he was determined to stay in the race despite the fears of some Democratic lawmakers, Biden said, “I'm determined on running, but I think it's important that I realize allay fears by seeing — let them see me out there. Let them see me out.” He said his campaign was strong and working hard in “toss-up states.”

Which is really the same thing as 'don't run', Joe.

He's in it for his ego.

It sounds self-serving, arrogant, and aggressive.  ("Have you seen a more successful conference? - Heads of state thanking me - because of Biden." He sounds like Trump these days.)

Yeah, everyone is saying that.  Perhaps they better start saying that to Joe.  I don't know if he literally means that even if they showed him Kamala does better against Trump he wouldn't step aside as long as he has some chance of winning.  But I suspect he does.  

Four Democratic sources with knowledge tell CBS News that they expect dozens of Democratic lawmakers over the next 48 hours to issue statements calling for President Biden to step out of the race. The planning is coordinated, and some of the statements are pre-written, according to two sources.

But there is also a recognition, as two sources put it, that public calls from leadership would trigger stubborn opposition from the president.
