Pruitt taking top honors

Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) hit Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Scott Pruitt on Thursday, calling him the "poster boy for the most ethically corrupt" administration as Pruitt faces a slew of scandals.

"It's remarkable that he's still in office, even with what we know just now in that the president is standing by him," he continued.

Various Republican and Democratic lawmakers have called for Pruitt's resignation.

Trump told reporters on Thursday that he has full confidence in Pruitt as EPA administrator.

This guy is something else. And, despite what the White House is saying about backing him up, I have no doubt he'll be getting the boot, because, while he may be The Chief Corrupt's type of guy, he's been getting way too much publicity. The bad part doesn't bother Trump, but the air time does.

Here's one more newly revealed incident:
A security agent was removed from Environmental Protection Agency head Scott Pruitt’s detail shortly after he told the EPA chief he couldn’t use his vehicle's lights and sirens to cut through Washington, D.C., traffic, CBS News reported Thursday.

Pruitt had reportedly made the request to use the vehicle's lights and sirens when he was stuck in traffic on his way to an official appointment just weeks after he was confirmed to lead the EPA.

However, special agent Eric Weese, who was leading Pruitt’s security detail, told Pruitt that the sirens could only be used in an emergency, CBS reported.

Less than two weeks later Weese, a 16-year veteran of the agency, was removed from Pruitt’s detail and reassigned within the EPA.

...but hey, do what you want...you will anyway.
