Trial resumes

 [...]

I recall reading something similar in the early days with speculation that she, being a serious and good lawyer, was perhaps trying to distance herself from the bullshit artists.  This time, however, after her performance where Judge Merchan seemed to chastise her for not objecting to parts of Stormy Daniels' testimony (setting up an appeal on grounds of ineffective defense?), perhaps it's the reverse - they want to distance themselves from her.  But, either way, why is she there?  Because Trump needed a female attorney to be present who wasn't a total bimbo like Alina Habba?

Feels great to help somebody cheat somebody out of their due, eh?

Allison Gill clarifies there were about 50 venders treated this way.

It's just so weird that he sleeps in court.

Too bad.

And, yada, yada, yada, Cohen is taken through all the things you expect regarding his relationship and service to Trump.

I'm not feeling cheated from there being no camera in the courtroom.  And I think he must be taking drugs to keep him calm and in his seat - so heavy a dose that he's falling asleep.

Old news:

Cohen will be on the stand again tomorrow.  Maybe cross-examination will be more eventful.
