Back at the crazy: Defense rests, no more witnesses


And Merchan told him specifically yesterday not to give Merchan the side-eye or roll his eyes when he doesn't like the judge's decisions.









In about an hour this morning, Costello was through and the defense rested.

Where he can't be cross-examined and held to the truth.  And will complain that he wasn't ALLOWED to defend himself.

Paula Reid of CNN says Trump's lawyers did not want to call Costello, but Trump insisted on it after seeing Costello's performance before Congress recently.  Just more evidence that Costello is angling for a position with Trump, and may well get it. Trump would love to be the one with the balls to act like that in court and disrespect the judge directly.  But I don't see how this looks like a good situation on appeal.
