Another perfect fit for the Trump administration

I'm a little bit curious who was the first Trump voter to say, "She did something to deserve it."

May well have been The Most Notable Loser himself.

...but hey, do what you want...you will anyway.

Of course, he denies the allegations.

White House chief of staff John Kelly and White House press secretary Sarah Sanders both released statements praising Porter.

“Rob Porter has been effective in his role as staff secretary. The president and chief of staff have full confidence in his abilities and his performance,” Sanders said Wednesday.

As staff secretary, Porter handled every document signed by the president. A former chief of staff to Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah), he also became the lead White House policy coordinator on a number of key issues.

Many White House aides were stunned by the revelations about Porter, who had a reputation as a mild-mannered aide whose personality in the West Wing paled in comparison to the bombastic characters that have cycled in out and of the building since Trump took office.

But a senior administration official said Kelly was previously aware of the 2010 protective order, which prevented Porter from getting a full security clearance.

Sanders declined to comment on the status of his security clearance. Sanders also said Porter wasn’t pressured by the White House to resign.

So....why'd they take him on?

“Rob Porter is a man of true integrity and honor, and I can't say enough good things about him. He is a friend, a confidante and a trusted professional. I am proud to serve alongside him,” Kelly told the Daily Mail. The White House sent reporters the same statement again on Wednesday.

Never mind I couldn't clear him because he had a restraining order out on him. Maybe his ex-wife had something to do with it:

“I don't want to be married to him. I would not recommend anyone to date him or marry him,” she told the Daily Mail. “But I definitely want him in the White House and the position he is in. I think his integrity and ability to do his job is impeccable.”

Sure. Integrity. Why not? The president himself is a serial abuser of women.
