Try again

The White House is planning to withdraw its nominee for the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) after seven months, CNN reported Wednesday evening.

President Trump reportedly will nominate acting FEMA Administrator Peter Gaynor to replace current nominee Jeff Byard, sources told CNN.

CNN reported that a personal issue that came up within the past week prompted the White House's decision and that Byard himself asked for the nomination to be withdrawn.
