I guess it's not something we don't all already know: votes are games and have little to do with what's right or wrong, but it's still a bit stunning when someone comes right out and says it - especially when that someone is the president.
Doesn't matter? In other words...Barr at the DOJ is going to do whatever Trump tells him to do? Pretend you want transparency in order to look good, resting assured in the knowledge it's not gonna happen.
The other part of this is he doesn't want the report released, so this statement of what he told them is a lie. Lindsey Graham blocked the measure from even going to a vote in the Senate. Why would he do that if Trump told them to vote for it?
