Laying the groundwork for impeachment

“Tomorrow, we will be issuing document requests to over 60 different people and individuals from the White House to the Department of Justice, Donald Trump, Jr., Allen Weisselberg, to begin the investigations to present the case to the American people about obstruction of justice, corruption and abuse of power,” Nadler said on “This Week” Sunday.

That should put the actual impeachment proceedings to coincide with campaigning for the 2020 elections. And perhaps that was their plan all along, and all this talk about waiting for the Mueller report and bullet-proof evidence was just smokescreen. I have no doubt the Dems are sneaky enough to do that, and there are at least a couple who are smart enough.

...but hey, do what you want...you will anyway.

PLAYER: Act natural. You know why you're here at least.

GUILDENSTERN: We only know what we're told, and that's little enough. And for all we know it isn't even true.

PLAYER: For all anyone knows, nothing is. Everything has to be taken on trust; truth is only that which is taken to be true. It's the currency of living. There may be nothing behind it, but it doesn't make any difference so long as it is honoured. One acts on assumptions.
