Under any other set of circumstances this guy would have already been disqualified, and indeed, would have the GOP suggesting very strongly that he withdraw his name from consideration. The ONLY reason this guy is still being considered is because he has strongly signaled his willingness to protect Trump from Mueller. Republican Congress asses are complicit. Well, there may actually even be a second reason: they have a lot of shit on him, so he can be manipulated.
...but hey, do what you want...you will anyway.
