And so, it begins.
I happened to tune in when this line of questioning was going on; it included her admitting to flying to numerous places for vacations, etc. I think it was probably a mistake for Ford's lawyers to have made the statement about her not wanting to go to Washington because she had a fear of being in an airplane. Because any stump, no matter how small, will be used to discredit her entire claim.*
Grassley's head is up his ass. He's been lying for a long time. He's not going to stop now.
And in a tirade after the hearing recessed, Lindsay Graham, before reporters' cameras was squealing that "somebody" paid for her polygraph test, saying he doesn't know who, "but SOMEbody did." Lindsey is definitely in trouble if something is found out in the future. I don't know what it is, but it's SOMEthing.
Won't matter. When Ass Grassley, et al., said they're going to "ram this through", they meant it.
What. the. fuck.
Republicans are always in a deep hole. Under a rock. It's where they live. I don't know if this matters to them. I think not. They can still strong-arm or blackmail their members to vote however they want them to vote.
Well, hallelujah!

UPDATE:
I think it was a point on Ford's side that she didn't try to obfuscate or excuse her flying. She simply said "correct" every time Mitchell mentioned another time she rode an airplane.
