Running scared

And Jeff better deliver this time.

Whatever happened during the Trump campaign happened within the Obama Administration!

Dude, it was done for criminal justice purposes.

I thought His Lordship's twitter account was official. And why would he "hereby demand" if it wasn't official? How will he make it official tomorrow?

Enquiring minds want to know.

UPDATE:

Also, this doesn't strike me as a smart move on His Lordship's part. It looks like another attempt to interfer with the investigation - aka, obstruct justice.

FURTHER UPDATE:

Add to that the fact that the FBI did in fact make public its investigation of Hillary Clinton, and it makes even less sense.

As I was saying...

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein asked the Justice Department's inspector general Sunday to review whether there was improper politically motivated surveillance of the Trump campaign in 2016.

Rosenstein made the request shortly after a tweet from President Trump saying that he would "officially" ask "that the Department of Justice look into whether or not the FBI/DOJ infiltrated or surveilled the Trump Campaign for Political Purposes."

In a statement, Rosenstein said: “If anyone did infiltrate or surveil participants in a presidential campaign for inappropriate purposes, we need to know about it and take appropriate action." The attorney general, Jeff Sessions, has recused himself from Russia-related matters.

GUILDENSTERN: What a fine persecution---to be kept intrigued without ever quite being enlightened.

GUILDENSTERN: But we don't know what's going on, or what to do with ourselves. We don't know how to act.

PLAYER: Act natural. You know why you're here at least.

GUILDENSTERN: We only know what we're told, and that's little enough. And for all we know it isn't even true.

PLAYER: For all anyone knows, nothing is. Everything has to be taken on trust; truth is only that which is taken to be true. It's the currency of living. There may be nothing behind it, but it doesn't make any difference so long as it is honoured. One acts on assumptions.
