This is why he'll never be fit to be president. He can't hold anything in. Press releases worked for every other president. Not him. As soon as he knows something, he has to tell it. And if he can't tell it, he has to tell that he's going to tell it.
This is why he, who thinks he makes the best deals in the world, has set the US up to have to give away more than necessary to North Korea because he's already blab-bragged that three American prisoners are going to be released. If I thought he were smart, I might wonder if he did that in order to make it tougher to negotiate, so that he could say he tried, but Kim wouldn't be reasonable, and walk away from the table. But, he's not smart. He's simply incapable of keeping his fat trap closed.
...but hey, do what you want...you will anyway.
