Also: Grassley had to have known about this for a while anyway, because it would take a bit of time to locate those 65 women for their signatures. DiFi may well have told him about it, even though she wouldn't tell her Democratic colleagues. However, it could have been the FBI who told him since they had to do the background check on Kavanaugh in the first place. A third possibility I suppose is that DiFi has a leaker.
