The former NFL star initially said on Twitter he would be donating twenty percent of the earnings from the jerseys to the Know Your Rights Camp, which is a free campaign for youth funded by Kaepernick intended to “raise awareness on self-empowerment and interacting with law enforcement.”
However, Kaepernick later announced on Instagram that he would be donating all proceeds to the youth campaign after the jerseys sold out.
