The Trump Show

So now it's not only a banana republic militaristic vanity show, but it's more or less private????

Oh, that's going to go over really well.

I don't think they paid. If I'm not mistaken, the RNC gave away tickets to Republican donors and VIPs. But the image is still the same.

It is indeed.

Yes, he told them to get there early.

I don't get it.

Sad.

(Around 4:00 pm, we got 2" in central Missouri in about 5 minutes, but the storm moved on quickly.)

UPDATE:

Because JFK, Jr would run on a ticket with Donald Trump? I still don't get it.

PLAYER: Act natural. You know why you're here at least.

GUILDENSTERN: We only know what we're told, and that's little enough. And for all we know it isn't even true.

PLAYER: For all anyone knows, nothing is. Everything has to be taken on trust; truth is only that which is taken to be true. It's the currency of living. There may be nothing behind it, but it doesn't make any difference so long as it is honoured. One acts on assumptions.
