Breitbart's chief operating officer, Jon Kahn, notified employees on Monday that Michelle Moons would soon be taking a job with the Domestic Policy Council, according to CNN.
"[Moons has] been an integral part of our DC team and we are very proud of her," Kahn reportedly said in a message to employees, adding that they could "reach out to her directly to offer congratulations."

A spokesperson for the White House later confirmed the hire to CNN. The White House and Breitbart did not immediately respond to requests for comment from The Hill.

Kahn also asked employees to "NOT comment about this publicly or on social media," CNN noted.
