President Trump brushed aside results of a DNA test that shows evidence of Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s (D-MA) Native American ancestry.

When a reporter confronted President Trump on Monday over his pledge to donate $1 million to charity if Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) took a DNA test to prove she had Native American ancestry, Trump denied he ever made the commitment.

“I didn’t say that. You better read it again,” Trump said.

He did say it — at a July rally in Montana. “I will give you a million dollars to your favorite charity, paid for by Trump, if you take the test and it shows you’re an Indian.”

At a rally. There'll be video proof.  But, his answer to that could also be, "Who cares?"  But more likely: he didn't say Indian ancestry, he said Indian.  He's not coming up with a million dollars for anybody.  (Warren has suggested National Indigenous Women’s Resource Center, and that will definitely not be happening.)

The Cherokee Nation released a statement Monday criticizing those touting tests as proof of heritage.

“Using a DNA test to lay claim to any connection to the Cherokee Nation or any tribal nation, even vaguely, is inappropriate and wrong,” said Cherokee Nation Secretary of State Chuck Hoskin Jr.

“It makes a mockery out of DNA tests and its legitimate uses while also dishonoring legitimate tribal governments and their citizens, whose ancestors are well documented and whose heritage is proven.”

And, his volunteer ass kisser, Lindsey Graham chimes in:

Sen. Lindsay Graham (R-S.C.) told Fox and Friends on Tuesday that he would be taking a DNA test, and that he thinks he can "beat" Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Ma.) in terms of the amount of Cherokee heritage that it will show.

"I've been told that my grandmother was part Cherokee Indian, it may all be just talk, but you're gonna find out in a couple of weeks because I'm gonna take this test," he said.
