Is Jeff Flake a liar or an idiot?

Republican Sen. Jeff Flake (Ariz.) said he still isn’t sure he believes Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s denial of sexual assault allegations after voting to confirm the judge earlier this month.

“He was very persuasive,” Flake said during an appearance on ABC’s “The View” on Tuesday.

“I don’t know. I don’t know. I wish I had the certitude that some of my colleagues expressed. But I said on the [Senate] floor before that hearing, we’re likely to leave the hearing with as much doubt as certainty. And that’s how I felt afterwards,” he said.
