Nimrod in Chief

By "nobody", I assume he means himself.

Hurricane Michael  diameter:  350 miles

2017 Irma  diameter: 400 miles

2016 Hurricane Matthew  diameter: 500 miles

2008 Hurricane Ike  diameter: 450 miles

2007 Hurricane Dean  diameter: 435 miles

2005 Hurricane Katrina  diameter: 385 miles

Relative size comparison

Michael is big and it's bad.  It's doing a hell of a lot of damage across several states.  There's no reason to exaggerate its size.

...but hey, do what you want...you will anyway.

UPDATE:

Trump on Hurricane Florence:
“They haven’t seen anything like what’s coming at us in 25, 30 years, maybe ever.” (He later said the storm was “one of the wettest we’ve ever seen from the standpoint of water.”)

  MSNBC
Trump on Hurricane Harvey:
“I’ve heard the words, ‘epic.’ I’ve heard ‘historic.’ That’s what it is.” It followed a tweet in which Trump added, “Many people are now saying that this is the worst storm/hurricane they have ever seen.”

  MSNBC
Trump on Hurricane Irma:
“Hurricane Irma is of epic proportion, perhaps bigger than we have ever seen.”

[...]

Other presidents – mere mortals – had to deal with modest hurricanes, but not Donald J. Trump. He confronts the biggest, wettest, fastest, and deadliest storms anyone has ever seen.
