The Dershowitz-Dowd theory, if you have forgotten or missed it because everything changes by the second and it's damned near impossible to keep up, is that the president can't be guilty of obstruction of justice because he's the president. That's the old Nixon theory: it's not illegal if the president does it. Look where he ended up....but hey, do what you want...you will anyway.
