Flynn's story is what you might have thought

Flynn's guilty plea has been filed.
The general told confidants about his decision to plead guilty in the last 24 hours, according to people close to Flynn, who say the former adviser feels Trump has abandoned him and has agreed to answer questions about the president or anyone else.

  ABC
I wonder if The Most Notable Loser knew that. And I wonder who in his staff/administration is going to get the rage bolloxing for convincing him to fire Flynn in the first place.  You know his lawyers are catching hell.

This makes me wonder again about that Kushner "interview" with Mueller's team just before Flynn's attorneys announced they'd no longer be exchanging information with Trump's attorneys. Did Mueller call Kushner in to tidy up the Flynn deal? See what further lies Kushner might tell now that Mueller knew what Flynn was willing to give up?

This is like the best mystery thriller on the market.
After the hearing, Flynn was free to go, but has to check in with authorities each week. Sentencing has been put off for now — and the judge noted that Flynn is agreeing to cooperate with authorities in other matters.
Other matters.

He's "free to go, but has to check in with authorities each week."  He might want to stay at home and well-guarded.
Flynn had initially resisted cooperating with the investigation, according to people close to the retired general, but he has been facing mounting legal debts and plans to sell his house to help defray costs. He only recently learned the full scope of the charges he could potentially face.
Which probably had more to do with his cooperation than his mounting legal bills.

...but hey, do what you want...you will anyway.
