A Florida charity for children on Tuesday joined the wave of nonprofits ditching President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago club in the wake of the President’s failure to fully condemn white nationalists after a car attack left a counter-protester dead at a rally in Charlottesville, Virginia.

The Palm Beach Post reports that a total of 21 groups have yanked events from Mar-A-Lago “in recent months.”

After a wave of charities pulled fundraising events from President Donald Trump’s Mar-A-Lago club in the wake of his response to the Charlottesville attack, a local New Jersey charity announced Monday that it would no longer hold an event at Trump’s golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey.

“United Ways in every community denounce racism, bigotry and prejudice in all forms. We strongly reject the divisive worldview of groups like the white nationalists and neo-Nazis that incited the violence in Charlottesville, VA,” United Ways of Monmouth and Ocean Counties said in a Facebook post.

His business interests losing money will be the thing that will perhaps pull him up short. But it hasn't yet, so maybe not. If that doesn't do it, nothing will.

Not even this:

Four prominent Jewish groups announced Wednesday that they would not take part in what has become a yearly call between the President and hundreds of rabbis across the country ahead of the Jewish High Holidays of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur in September.

The groups specifically cited President Donald Trump’s statements following a white nationalist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia on Aug. 12, saying in a statement that his remarks were “so lacking in moral leadership and empathy for the victims of racial and religious hatred that we cannot organize such a call this year.”

And, while we're on the subject of running away from Trump...

A State Department science envoy announced his resignation on Wednesday, citing President Donald Trump’s response to violence at a white nationalist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia and the President’s attitudes toward climate research.

Daniel Kammen, appointed in 2016 as one of the department’s science envoys with a “focus on energy innovation in the Middle East and Africa,” tweeted his resignation letter to Trump.

“Your response to Charlottesville enables racism, sexism, & harms our country and planet,” Kammen tweeted.

“Particularly troubling to me is how your response to Charlottesville is consistent with a broader pattern of behavior that enables sexism and racism.”

Kammen wrote that Trump’s “decision to abdicate the leadership opportunities and the job creation benefits of the Paris Climate Accord,” which Trump in June announced the United States would abandon, and his behavior “to undermine energy and environmental research are not acceptable.”

“Acts and words matter,” Kammen wrote. “Your actions to date have, sadly harmed the quality of life in the United States, our standing abroad, and the sustainability of the planet.”

Mr. Kammen should expect some tweet blowback. That is, if Fox News reports his resignation. Otherwise, Dolt 45 won't even know it happened. He doesn't read people's tweets to him.

And, yet another mass resignation:

Seven members of the White House’s National Infrastructure Advisory Council resigned from the panel on Monday, sending a letter to President Donald Trump telling him that his actions have undermined the country’s “moral infrastructure,” Roll Call reported.

The National Infrastructure Advisory Council is just the latest advisory panel to see defections in the wake of Trump’s failure to immediately condemn white nationalists following the violence earlier this month at a rally in Charlottesville, Virginia. Trump said he disbanded the Manufacturing Jobs Initiative and the Strategic and Policy Forum after business leaders on both councils quit. Members of the advisory arts council also quit in protest of Trump’s nod to racists.
