The government, you will not be surprised to learn, is claiming it's incapable of getting Kilmar Garcia back - or even knowing where he is.
Unfuckingbelievable.

UPDATE 04/12/2025: The government now says they know where Garcia is. He's alive in the El Salvador prison, and there's nothing they can do about it, because El Salvador is a sovereign nation. Never mind we are paying El Salvador to hold him.
Small detail: They weren't threatening or menacing us in the first place.

UPDATE 04/13/2025 05:21 pm: NOW they're saying he's "no longer eligible for withholding of removal" because he's a member of MS-13, a charge very much in contention.
They have no intention of producing this man.
