A federal judge [appointed by Trump] on Tuesday sided with the Associated Press in its lawsuit against the White House, declaring that under the First Amendment the government can't bar journalists from certain government events because of their viewpoints.

The judge granted the AP's request for an injunction to force the White House to reinstate the AP at Oval Office and Air Force One press events.

Exactly. And this time around? Did it anyway.Some precedent was already set around these types of issues. During Trump's first administration, efforts to block reporters were found to be unconstitutional.
Michael Lewis, author of, among many good books, "The Big Short", says Trump 1.0 was the dog that caught the car, and Trump 2.0 is the dog driving the car.
