Russia is intending to freeze the Ukrainians out this winter. The US keeps saying we can't provide top western fighter jets because it takes weeks to train on them. That's bullshit. This war has been going on since Russia invaded on February 24. Ukrainian pilots could have been trained ten times over. And they could be trained even now. The war is not over, and more and more the Russians are targeting civilians and destroying infrastructure. (See also here and here.) This is madness.
I have to wonder how many US interests are pushing against providing Ukraine with what they need to decisively end this horror because they're calculating how much the US economy, and their personal corporate interests, stand to gain rebuilding a devastated Ukraine.
Also, GOP Friends of Putin are against it. Democrats MUST take big leads in the House and Senate in November, for not just the sake of our democracy, but for the sake of the world.
