What country is this anyway?

The White House won't allow U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Robert Redfield to testify at a House Committee on Education and Labor hearing on safely reopening schools this fall amid the Covid-19 pandemic, according to the committee’s chairman, capping another week of tension between the agency and the White House.

Those expanded documents were initially expected by the end of this week, but on Thursday the agency said they "likely" would be done by the end of the month

I give up. This is just outrageous. How many times can the Trump administration refuse to allow testimony before Congress and we just move on? Oh well, I guess we can't get that information. WTF?!
