...but hey, do what you want...you will anyway.A federal appeals court late Wednesday lifted a lower court's order blocking the administration from tapping into military funds to help construct President Trump's long-sought wall along the southern border.
The decision comes less than a month after Judge David Briones of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas dealt a blow to Trump by ruling in favor of an argument by El Paso County, Texas, and the Border Network for Human Rights that using billions in Pentagon funds for a border wall represented an overreach.
In wake of an appeal from the Trump administration, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals granted a stay of the Texas judge's injunction. The decision reportedly divided the court along party lines, with two Republican appointees voting to temporarily lift the lower court's order and a Democratic appointee dissenting. The case remains ongoing, CNN noted.
