“There’s been virtually no debate or even discussion about this, but America appears to be lumbering towards a new Middle East war. We have to say, it’s one that officials in Washington wanted for decades,” [Tucker] Carlson said on his prime-time program Thursday night.
Carlson said that “disgraced national security adviser John Bolton has made it his life’s mission to start a war with Iran and Bolton might be getting his wish" following the airstrike that killed Maj. Gen. Qassem Soleimani, considered one of Iran's most powerful military leaders.

Carlson blasted Bolton's hawkish foreign policy views during his program Thursday night, saying that "the last time we took John Bolton’s advice in the region, Iran became far more powerful than it was before."
“The ones telling you the Persian menace is the greatest threat we face, are the very same ones demanding that you ignore the invasion of America now in progress from the south, the millions — tens of millions of foreign nationals living among us illegally,” Carlson argued.
“They are liars and they don’t care about you, they don’t care about your kids. And you should keep all of that in mind," the host concluded.

What does Sean Hannity think?
SEAN HANNITY (HOST): The president proved something with the caliphate in Syria when he wiped them out. He took off the rules of engagement of Obama and bomb[ed] the living hell out of them. Can that be done with Iran?
LINDSEY GRAHAM: Well what you can do is you can hit them where they're the weakest. What would destroy the Iranian economy is to take them out of the oil business. Here is why it is important to let Iran know what will come their way if they continue to come after Americans. I think the target list that the president is looking at if they continue to escalate is inside of Iran itself. I want them the Ayatollah to know that if you continue to come after Americans, everything is on the table including your oil refineries. I’m not speaking for the president but I do believe the target list includes targets inside of Iran."
That's very interesting, because Lindsey
told the world on
Fox News that he was "briefed" about the "ptential operation" at Mar-A-Lago just days before the Soleimani assassination.
"[Soleimani] was a terrorist. He was a murderer with American blood on his hands. And as the leader of the Iranian Quds Force, that is their elite military unit, no one man was more responsible for the death of our American treasure and civilian deaths in the Middle East than him," Hannity said on his television program. "American lives, we can confirm tonight, were in fact in jeopardy. The president moved quickly, decisively to protect American lives and interests abroad."

Confirm how? Because Hannity talked to Trump?
Hannity then delivered a message directly to Rouhani, comparing him to Soleimani.
"Mr. 'Death to America, death to Israel' radicals like President Rouhani ... You now dare to threaten the United States of America again," Hannity said. "You have zero territorial integrity in the country of Iraq. And Soleimani is responsible for the deaths of thousands, including our fellow Americans. You are the leader of the number one terrorist state in the world. You, Rouhani, are a mass murderer, just like Soleimani."
"There is a special place in hell that awaits you," Hannity added.
The host praised President Trump, echoing his statement that "the world is a safer place." He also commended Trump for using non-traditional means to win conflicts and urged the United States to adopt the "next generation" of weaponry.
"The president has shown the wars now can be won without using traditional means. Look at how the [ISIS] caliphate was destroyed in Iraq and Syria," Hannity said. "It is why I am saying the next generation of weaponry, both offensive and defensive, needs to be produced in this country. So future conflicts, future wars, we can stage them ... from a distance, safely."
