LOL. He determines his poll numbers the same way he determines the value of his property: how he feels about it. But why so low? Why not 75%? 85%? 95%? Now that he's put this out, maybe the next time, it will be higher. The way he incrementally ups numbers at his rallies.
His poll numbers are actually in the 30s.
The Democrats are blind to this problem. Republicans are framing the investigations as sour grapes. Dems refusal to start impeachment hearings leaves them open to that argument. Impeachment hearings would recognize that there are impeachable offenses, that what Mueller found is reason enough, they don't have to look for more (which is not what their investigations are for). They should have started impeachment proceedings ages ago. They had plenty of reason before the Mueller investigation: abuse of power, obstruction of justice, failure to fulfill the oath of office, giving cover to white supremacists, etc. (Sarah Kendzior interviewed voting rights attorney John Bonifaz on Gaslit Nation about impeachment.)
They're letting him have this argument.
