Good for a laugh anyway

In their final appeal to the jury, Manafort’s lawyers said it defied common sense for Manafort to cheat the IRS or banks when his net worth still exceeded $21 million.

The millionaires are precisely the people I suspect of cheating the IRS.

The jury is scheduled to begin deliberations Thursday morning.

If he's convicted, I'm guessing they'll appeal. Or ask for a mistrial ruling over something. Although, it seems to me if you choose not to put on any defense at all, you shouldn't get to ask for an appeal.
