His big moment is at hand

Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin will hold their first official summit in Helsinki on 16 July, the Kremlin and the White House have announced, scheduling an encounter that is certain to generate fresh controversy for the White House.

I don't know how the Finns feel about Trump - or Putin. Will there be protests? I hope.
Arms control and other security issues are likely to be among the main topics of discussion, although both sides have already played down the potential for the meeting to deliver concrete results.
Because that's not really why they're meeting, is it?
“I think a lot of good things can come from meetings with people,” Trump said in Washington DC on Wednesday. “Maybe something positive will come out of it.”
Will there be any American officials and interpreters? Probably, but there may also be some personal (secretive) meetings like the one at the G7 summit in 2017 where they apparently discussed the lie that Trump would instruct baby Trump to tell the New York Times about that tower meeting. (Trump actually admitted they talked about adoption policy.) Maybe they now need to talk about what Paul Manafort is going to tell the feds.

...but hey, do what you want...you will anyway.
