UPDATE:
Yes, I think it's a little early to say that. If there was any chance of him winning before he said it, it's still there after, because the statement will get spun. The only possibility of it ending his chances (assuming he had any), is if the GOP elites who are trying to rein him in realize the job is absolutely impossible, that giving him another speech to read won't fix the situation, and they ALL withdraw their support.
Because, basically, he just told them to go fuck themselves.
