Mass Sexual Assault by Arabs in Germany on New Years Eve?

In a country where many people are up in arms about their government receiving Syrian refugees.  Could be explosive.

 

"Hundreds" of Arabs and Africans involved in a "mass sexual assault"? How'd I miss this?

A thousand?

A thousand men attacked 90 women?

Not 90?  And these were migrant gangs?  

Security has been boosted in the German city [of Cologne] which was rocked by mass sexual violence on New Year's Eve.

According to witnesses, “heavily intoxicated” men of “Arab or North African” origin flooded the city’s famous square between its central train station and Gothic cathedral.

With the festivities in full swing, some men reportedly sexually assaulted women and pickpocketed revelers. Among the criminal complaints officially filed, there is at least one allegation of rape.

Four? Not "hundreds"? Are we sure all these officially filed complaints even relate to the alleged mass Arab assaults (which are being referred to in some of these reports as attacks)?

Ralf Jaeger, interior minister for North Rhine-Westphalia, said police had to "adjust" to the fact that groups of men had attacked women en masse. Three suspects have been identified, he said, but no arrests had been made.

Three, not four?  No arrests?  Are we sure these reports involve all Arabs and blacks?

A crowd of about 1,000 men had gathered in the square outside the main railway station on New Year's Eve, letting off fireworks. Many were drunk and aggressive.

Police eventually evacuated the area because of the risk of injury from the fireworks.

Okay, a thousand men were drunkenly celebrating and were dispersed.  They weren't attacking or sexually assaulting anyone?

But gangs of youths soon returned and carried out dozens of attacks over a number of hours with little apparent response from the local authorities until well after midnight.

Are we to understand these "gangs of youths" are from the same group of 1,000 men?

On Wednesday, Cologne police said the number of criminal complaints received had risen to 106. At least three-quarters of those were of sexual assault, including two alleged rapes.

Good god. I give up.  Were those sexual assaults by "Arab" or "African" men?  What about the alleged rapes?

More than 30 complaints have been filed by women saying they were indecently assaulted or robbed on Hamburg's Reeperbahn and police in Stuttgart say several women were attacked at Schlossplatz in the city centre.

Insinuating, by putting that information from other cities in this report, that these were also attacks by swarthy men.

There's a video clip embedded in this BBC account with a woman who claims she and her friends were surrounded by "Arabs" and assaulted. Her description includes the men putting their hands "between our legs or I don't know where, and just got everything we had in our pockets and so on." Even the narrator of the piece admits police say it could have been a case of "professional pick-pocket gangs using sexual assault as a distraction technique." Or, maybe drunken teens handling their victims roughly?

I bet there were similar numbers of New Years Eve assault claims in every large city on the planet. But hey, why not stoke the fires of racial hatred and anti-immigration while we've got a chance?
