At first, this seems a little over the top. I think it's the headdress that does it.
On the other hand, it's quite accurate. For Obama to stand up and condemn the latest (and all) school shooting, and call for gun control in this country, may be the height of dissociative thinking. Or maybe it's just politics. It's certainly hypocritical.
We've cultured a national identity over the past few decades of being heavily armed and badass toward the rest of the world. Not all the nuts cultivated and nurtured in that attitude join the military for an outlet.
Reap what you sow, I think is the phrase.
...but hey, do what you want...you will anyway.
