UPDATE 06:47 pm: This very unfortunate error will fuck things up. At least for a while.
The article says the judge told Conejo Ramos that they could "return to their home country, involuntarily or by self-deportation," adding it should be done "through a more orderly and humane policy than currently in place." But, they have applied for asylum and have a hearing later this month. I wonder if ICE will try to arrest the father again before then.
