Day three - US attack on Iran

I guess Trump's threats and boasts didn't do the trick.

Syria now in the war?  It isn't surprising.

Thanks to Trump.

Earlier...

Iran is reportedly planning to launch attacks on the United States's bases in Iraq and possibly Syria. This comes amid tensions following American strikes on Iranian nuclear sites, although the direct causation is not explicitly stated.

[...]

The situation has prompted the US to issue a "worldwide caution" for Americans due to heightened security risks from the ongoing Middle Eastern conflict.

[...]

The report didn't specify which Iran-backed groups are planning to target US bases. However, it noted that Iran's proxy network has been weakened by years of attrition from Israel and US forces.

Apparently not weakened enough.
Meanwhile, an NBC report claimed that Tehran had warned Washington about activating sleeper cells for potential terrorist attacks on American soil before the strikes on its nuclear facilities. The message reached Trump during the G7 Summit.
So he ran home and turned on Fox News.

Well done.

And Netanyahoo will be screaming for US retaliation.

Trump didn't write that.  It doesn't have errors or typos.  No strangely capitalized words.  He is incapable of putting together a paragraph that lengthy without those things.  He approved it.  But he didn't write it.

Yeah.  No one ever heard that before.

Updates will be posted below throughout the day.

UPDATE 10:40 am:

Not even remotely.

Yeah, well, they did.

Oh my.  Just realizing the consequences?

UPDATE 06/23/2025:

Until next time.

Or maybe it was a return "courtesy" because the US warned them of the intention to imminently bomb their nuclear sites.

Seems like the winners here are the "defense" contractors who supply the munitions.

MTG weighs in...

And she's not shy about sharing her opinion.

We are surprised to be agreeing with MTG.

UPDATE 05:56 pm:

And it was all because of ME, your favorite president! Now give me my Nobel prize!

Anybody else thinking similar thoughts?

UPDATE 06/24/2025:  I know what you were thinking, because I was thinking the same thing: this won't last.  Well....
A tentative truce faltered Tuesday when Israel accused Iran of launching missiles into its airspace after the ceasefire was supposed to take effect and vowed to retaliate.

Iran’s military denied firing on Israel, state media reported — but explosions boomed and sirens sounded across northern Israel midmorning, and an Israeli military official said two Iranian missiles were intercepted.

U.S. President Donald Trump told reporters at the White House before departing for the NATO summit at The Hague that in his view, both sides had violated the nascent agreement he had announced earlier.

“They violated it but Israel violated it too,” Trump said. ”I’m not happy with Israel.”
