President Donald Trump will address a joint session of Congress Tuesday (6pm Pacific) in a speech that will not technically be a State of the Union address.
It comes amid a flurry of actions implemented by the Trump administration targeting immigrants without legal status in the United States, diversity, equity and inclusion policies, federal layoffs, tariffs, and more.
Tuesday’s speech is not an official State of the Union address because Trump was sworn into office less than two months ago.
